International Research and Information Science Expo 2027

The 4th International Research & Information Science Expo 2027 (IRISE 2027) brings together researchers, academics, students, innovators, industry practitioners, and technology enthusiasts to showcase impactful research, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions in the field of information science and beyond.

IRISE 2027 is organised by DIGIT360 Sdn Bhd, a Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Startup Company, in collaboration with the Fakulti Sains Maklumat, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Kelantan, and the Digital Information Interest Group (DIGIT).

Now entering its fourth edition, IRISE continues to serve as a platform for research dissemination, innovation showcase, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge exchange. The expo provides participants with opportunities to present their work, connect with fellow researchers and professionals, and explore how emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence and digital innovation—can contribute to meaningful real-world impact.

With the theme “Beyond Possibilities: Transforming Innovation with Latest Technology,” IRISE 2027 encourages participants to move beyond conventional ideas and explore new possibilities through research, technology, creativity, and collaboration.

Whether you are presenting academic research, an innovative product, a digital solution, or a technology-driven idea, IRISE 2027 offers a platform to showcase your work, expand your network, and contribute to the future of research and innovation.

Category Eligibility

• Junior Creator: Applicable for Primary School Students. The project MUST BE LED by a STUDENT.

• Young Creator: Applicable for Secondary School Students. The project MUST BE LED by a STUDENT.

• Tertiary Social Science or Tertiary Science and Technology: Applicable for the STUDENTS of higher learning institutions. The project MUST BE LED by a STUDENT.

Team Composition & Registration

• Maximum team members is 8, including the teacher/lecturer/advisor.

• Teacher/Lecturer/Supervisor may insert their name as a member; please select appropriate roles.

• The organizer provides only ONE e-certificate including all participants' names.

• All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.

• Failure to complete registration before the submission deadline will VOID your participation.

• Fees do not include custom fees for international shipping.

Terms & Privacy

• Failure to comply with rules may lead to disqualification.

• All decisions are FINAL; no requests or appeals will be entertained.

• Data collected is confidential and will not be shared with other entities.

• The organizer may use information to update participants on event progress or future events.

• All Projects will receive ONE (1) COMPLIMENTARY MEDAL.

• Video Duration: Within 6 Minutes and 30 Seconds.

• Orientation: Landscape.

• Submission: Upload to your own YouTube Channel. Please set permission to ‘Unlisted’ or ‘Public’.

• Mandatory Introduction: Must start with video introduction of team members – including name, and organization/university name.
