About the Project
Auto Smart FertiRoll is a manual fertilizer dispensing device developed to simplify and improve the convenience of fertilizer application. Traditional manual fertilizer application can require physical effort, take more time, and make it difficult for users to control the release of fertilizer. To address these challenges, Auto Smart FertiRoll was developed using a simple mechanical system without electricity or a motor. The device consists of a PVC frame, fertilizer container, bicycle wheels, fertilizer channel, control lever, barrier mechanism, spring system, and other accessible materials. The control lever operates the barrier mechanism, allowing the user to control the release of fertilizer while moving the device across the planting area. When the lever is pressed, the barrier opens and fertilizer flows through the channel. When the lever is released, the spring returns the barrier to its original position, stopping the fertilizer flow. Auto Smart FertiRoll offers a simple, practical, and low-cost approach to manual fertilizer application. Its mechanical design allows users to control fertilizer release while operating the device manually. The innovation aims to make fertilizer application more convenient while maintaining a simple design that is easy to operate and maintain. Future improvements will focus on fertilizer flow adjustment, ergonomic design, and further development of the dispensing mechanism.
