About the Project

ChemEase is an interactive web-based platform designed to make solution preparation calculations convenient and to support laboratory solution preparation, especially for teaching and research purposes. ChemEase combines multiple solution expression calculations in a single, user-friendly platform that supports six different concentration expressions: molarity (M), percent weight per weight (% w/w), percentage weight per volume (% w/v), percentage volume per volume (% v/v), parts per thousand (ppt) and parts per billion (ppb). This user-friendly calculator integrates features of instant conversion between concentration and the solute weight or solution volume required to prepare a solution in different concentration units, a formula guide, and calculation verification, making it an innovative and outstanding chemistry calculator. This innovation enhances laboratory performance, improves student learning outcomes, and has strong commercialization potential as a low-cost and high-impact digital laboratory assistant.
