About the Project

COMMSENSE AI is an artificial intelligence (AI)-based platform designed to help students develop and improve their presentation and communication skills before undergoing actual assessments. The platform provides students with an interactive and supportive practice environment where they can rehearse presentations, receive AI-generated scores and feedback, and identify areas requiring improvement. By evaluating their performance and highlighting weaknesses, COMMSENSE AI enables students to refine their delivery, build confidence, and enhance their overall communication effectiveness. In addition, the platform incorporates a question-and-answer (Q&A) practice feature that allows students to prepare for potential questions, develop their critical thinking, and improve their ability to respond clearly and effectively. Students can repeat their practice sessions, review feedback, and monitor their progress over time. By integrating AI-powered assessment, personalised feedback, and repeated practice, COMMSENSE AI aims to support self-directed learning and provide students with opportunities to strengthen their communication competencies in a low-pressure environment. Ultimately, the platform seeks to enhance students’ readiness for academic presentations, oral assessments, and other communication-based activities while promoting greater confidence and continuous skills development.
