About the Project

AI SAFETY QUEST RBT YEAR 4 is a browser-based learning innovation designed to help Year 4 pupils recognise workshop hazards and choose safe actions in Reka Bentuk dan Teknologi (RBT). Knowing a safety rule does not necessarily mean that a pupil can apply it in a practical situation. The innovation addresses this gap through illustrated hazard identification, immediate feedback, targeted practice and independent reassessment. It supports selected aspects of the Year 4 RBT curriculum concerning safety rules and safe workshop practices (Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia, 2018). Students also can evaluate their understanding about workshop safety by attending assessment and this innovation helps teachers to identify areas students requiring futher supports. A classroom evaluation involving 10 pupils recorded higher scores after the learning activity, providing preliminary evidence of its potential as a supplementary teaching resource.
