The increasing rate of preventable sports injuries among young athletes highlights the urgent need for accessible and intelligent monitoring systems. Overtraining and insufficient recovery often go undetected, particularly at school and developmental levels where advanced technologies are limited. ATHLEX AI is a machine learning–based injury risk prediction platform designed to provide early detection of fatigue-related and overuse injuries. The system integrates training load data, fatigue levels, muscle soreness indicators, and performance patterns to generate a real-time Injury Risk Score. Through predictive modeling and pattern recognition, ATHLEX AI identifies abnormal workload spikes and recovery imbalances, triggering early warnings and personalized recovery recommendations for both athletes and coaches. The platform is scalable, cost-effective, and adaptable across multiple sports disciplines, enabling broader access beyond elite athletes. By shifting from reactive treatment to proactive prevention, ATHLEX AI reduces injury risk, extends athletic longevity, and optimizes training performance. This innovation aligns with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by promoting injury prevention and athlete safety, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through the application of intelligent data-driven sports technology.
