BedSafe Eco Mist is an eco-friendly pest repellent and air-freshening spray developed through a Frugal Innovation approach to address household pests (mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants, and bedbugs) while eliminating toxic synthetic chemical risks. Meticulously optimized into a Tetra-Complex formulation, the product synergizes four natural botanicals—clove, star anise, kaffir lime leaves, and cinnamon—infused with Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) acting as a lipophilic scent-fixative. Uniquely designed for a hybrid application, EcoMist is sprayed onto blank, microporous recycled paper patches. The paper’s fibers trap the VCO-encapsulated active phytochemicals (Eugenol, Anethole, Citronellal, and Cinnamaldehyde), creating an oil-free, stain-safe Slow-Release System that significantly extends scent longevity. Verified through a 5-variant Discovery Kit, BedSafe Eco Mist offers a highly effective, low-cost manufacturing blueprint that directly supports SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
