Eatsy Mobile: A Better Way to Order Food on Campus

About the Project

Manual cafeteria ordering causes long queues and delays for university students. To address this, we developed "Eatsy," an Android food ordering application for the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Machang Campus. Built using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, Eatsy allows students to order remotely and track real-time status while helping staff manage orders efficiently. A preliminary evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded a high score of 91.25, indicating excellent user acceptance. Ultimately, Eatsy successfully minimizes operational delays and improves the campus dining experience. Future work will explore intelligent recommendations and multi-cafeteria expansion.
