About the Project

EcoCone is a smart, sustainable safety cone designed to improve road visibility, especially at night and during poor weather. Made from recycled HDPE or PET, it offers a durable alternative to conventional cones. A miniature solar panel recharges the built-in battery, while flashing LED lights and light and proximity sensors provide early warnings to drivers and workers. Optional IoT and GPS functions support real-time tracking, condition monitoring, and maintenance alerts. EcoCone can improve safety in roadworks, construction sites, parking areas, campuses, and emergency zones while reducing battery waste and supporting sustainable infrastructure.
