About the Project
Rural primary pupils often face learning gaps due to limited academic support, unreliable internet, multilingual resources, and digital materials. EduLens AI is a rural-first, child-safe learning tool that transforms worksheet questions into personalised, age-appropriate support. Instead of providing answers, it scaffolds learning through five stages: Scan, Understand, Learn, Grow, and Revise. Its lightweight, low-bandwidth design combines image-based question scanning, simple explanations, multilingual support, and gamified activities. A four-week pilot involving 39 pupils at SK Kampung Bulau, Bekenu, Sarawak recorded 90% improvement, 100% conceptual understanding, 88% sustained engagement, and 100% confidence, demonstrating EduLens AI’s potential as an equitable, scalable learning solution.
