FINANCE HERO: AN INTERACTIVE FINANCIAL LIFE SIMULATION

About the Project

Finance Hero is an interactive website simulation developed to address the gap between learning personal finance concepts and applying them to connected life decisions. Many learners find it difficult to understand how choices about education, work, spending, borrowing, saving and investing can shape their long-term financial wellbeing. The simulation guides players from post-SPM to retirement through realistic life-stage scenarios, while a live dashboard tracks simulated cash and savings, investments, debt, financial knowledge and happiness. Decision feedback lets users reflect on outcomes and try alternative choices without risking real money. Finance Hero is designed to support learner engagement, practical application, financial awareness and informed decision-making; its learning impact should be validated through user evaluation. Potential users include schools, colleges, universities and financial-literacy or workplace programmes, with possible commercialization through institutional licensing, customized versions and sponsored programmes. The team reports that the website simulation code was registered for copyright through the IID project; official registration details should accompany the submission.
