FINexus X: Smart Accounting Learning App

About the Project

FINexus X is to provide an interactive method for accounting students to become proficient with Debits and Credits. Students will engage in simulated transactions using the application; they will be provided real-time feedback and repeat the process. The design of FINexus X is based upon Kolb's Experiential Learning Theory which states that students can best develop knowledge by experiencing it, reflecting about their experiences, then developing understanding from those reflections and finally applying that new found understanding into their future. This application will increase student's ability to understand and apply Debit/Credit principles, improve student's confidence and encourage greater student participation.
