About the Project

Forest Warrior is an educational game developed using Scratch to raise awareness of forest conservation, biodiversity and the importance of protecting terrestrial ecosystems. Inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15 (Life on Land), the project aims to educate pupils about the harmful effects of forest fires, the importance of water resources and the need to restore damaged forests. The game consists of three interactive levels. In Level 1, players control a helicopter to extinguish forest fires and prevent further destruction of natural habitats. In Level 2, players answer questions related to SDG 15 to discover underground water resources, highlighting the importance of water in restoring damaged land. In Level 3, players sort different types of seeds and plant trees to support forest regeneration and biodiversity. Through interactive gameplay, problem-solving challenges and environmental storytelling, Forest Warrior combines digital learning with environmental education and computational thinking. The game encourages pupils to understand the consequences of human activities on forests and wildlife while developing their awareness of sustainable land management. Ultimately, Forest Warrior aims to inspire young learners to become responsible environmental stewards who actively support forest restoration, biodiversity conservation and a greener future.
