About the Project
The iHOME v2.0 system is an Arduino-based smart home prototype designed to enhance domestic safety and environmental monitoring. This integrated model fuses solar fan and multiple sensors to track ambient light, temperature, humidity, and UV radiation in real time. A dynamic AD keypad allows users to seamlessly switch between operational modes, displaying live telemetrics on an I2C LCD screen and color-coded NeoPixel LEDs. For enhanced security, instantaneous PIR motion detection triggers visual and acoustic alerts, alongside serial-controlled relay actuation. Ultimately, iHOME offers an accessible, responsive model for intuitive home automation. This system has been developed by Ayesha, SM Sains Hulu Terengganu, Terengganu and Afeefa, SK Merlimau Dua, Melaka.
