About the Project

Mathematics plays an important role in animal research by helping researchers analyse animal behaviour, predict population changes, and understand sensory abilities. This presentation highlights mathematical innovations inspired by electrosensing fish, turtles, and bats. The innovations focus on object discrimination, turtle population modelling, and bat echolocation. Mathematical methods, including calculus, linear algebra, and coordinate geometry, are applied alongside programming languages such as MATLAB and C++ to develop applications for visualization and computation. These innovations demonstrate how mathematics and programming can support scientific research and address real-world problems.
