About the Project

The MRB Garage Management System is a web-based workshop management system developed for MRB Garage, an automotive workshop in Ipoh, to digitalize service booking, spare part inventory, customer records, and payment processing. It addresses manual operational issues, including double bookings, inaccurate stock records, and delayed billing. The objectives are to develop a secure digital system, improve service scheduling and spare part ordering, and provide an administrator portal for efficient monitoring and decision-making. Key features include role-based authentication, online service booking with slot capacity control, real-time inventory tracking, order and customer management, automated invoice generation, and online payment integration. The Waterfall methodology was adopted to guide the system development process through sequential phases. Security features were implemented to protect data and prevent unauthorized access. The system aims to improve booking management, inventory accuracy, billing efficiency, transparency, and accountability in workshop operations.
