About the Project
NEXUS AI is an intelligent school ecosystem designed to transform conventional school management into a smarter, data-driven, and sustainable system. Schools face interconnected challenges including inefficient electricity and water consumption, waste generation, fragmented data management, academic difficulties, and student well-being concerns. NEXUS AI integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and data analytics through interconnected smart modules to address these challenges. The system collects data from sensors, digital platforms, and user inputs, then analyses patterns to identify potential issues and generate actionable recommendations. Its Smart Learning AI supports personalised learning and academic planning, while Green Energy AI and Smart Waste AI monitor resource consumption and waste management. Smart Health AI provides general well-being support, while the Digital Twin School enables selected improvement strategies to be simulated before implementation. NEXUS AI aims to improve learning outcomes, support student well-being, optimise resource utilisation, reduce waste, and enable evidence-based decision-making. The innovation contributes to SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 9, SDG 11, SDG 12, and SDG 13, promoting a smarter, more sustainable, and future-ready school ecosystem.
