About the Project

Q-IMPACT is a digital learning innovation integrating artificial intelligence to support Quranic education for Form Three Islamic Education students. Developed to address difficulties in understanding and retaining learning content, alongside limited classroom engagement, it follows the ADDIE and ASSURE instructional design models. The platform combines videos created with AI assistance, learning slides, songs with lyrics, and interactive quizzes within a website accessible across multiple devices. Its distinctive feature is the integration of visual, auditory, textual, and interactive resources with immediate feedback for independent assessment. Initial testing introduced students to videos and songs to explore user acceptance and identify areas for improvement. Organised by topic, Q-IMPACT supports independent learning, revision, and classroom teaching. The innovation offers potential for engaging, flexible Quranic learning experiences. Through language and content adaptation, its approach could extend to international educational contexts, connecting digital technology with values education while supporting resources responsive to contemporary learners and teachers.
