About the Project
School principals and headmasters (PGB) bear statutory accountability under the Financial Procedure Act 1957 [Act 61] and the Ministry of Education Malaysia’s school financial management procedures. However, conventional training often relies on passive lectures and static circulars, limiting practical judgment in complex financial situations. Recurring audit queries concern grant misclassification, procurement compliance, and delayed cash refunds (School Audit Division, 2024). To address this gap, SimuFin-Sch introduces a cloud-synchronized, multi-device simulation integrating gamification and experiential learning. In a 60-minute workshop, participants manage forty budget items across four school departments, responding to audit queries and reallocations while strengthening financial governance competencies.
