# SMART BLIND STICK WITH GPS TRACKER AND SOS BUTTON — Abstract The **Smart Blind Stick** is an innovative assistive device designed to improve the safety, independence, and mobility of visually impaired individuals. The system combines **obstacle detection, GPS location tracking, and an SOS emergency button** into a single smart walking stick. Sensors can detect obstacles in the user's path and provide alerts, helping the user navigate more safely. The built-in **GPS tracker** can share the stick's location with a trusted family member or caregiver, making it easier to locate the user when necessary. In an emergency, the user can press the **SOS button** to send an alert and location information to a selected contact. Additional features such as **water detection, vibration alerts, rechargeable battery monitoring, and a built-in flashlight** can further improve its usefulness. The main aim of this project is to combine smart technology with an everyday mobility aid to provide **greater safety, faster emergency response, and increased confidence and independence** for visually impaired users.
