About the Project
Students and job seekers often have limited opportunities to practise presentations and interviews or receive timely, specific feedback. SpeakFlow is an AI-powered mobile application designed to make that practice more accessible. Users can rehearse presentations and take part in mock interviews using their phone’s camera and microphone. The application analyses aspects of their delivery, including voice clarity, fluency, filler words, eye contact and body language, then provides feedback and tracks performance across sessions. A resume builder and professional attire guidance support interview preparation within the same platform. SpeakFlow brings repeated practice, personalised feedback, and career preparation into a single mobile application. It allows users to identify areas for improvement and practise at their own pace, wherever they are. The project is intended for students, fresh graduates and other job seekers, with potential use by universities and career centres as part of communication and employability programmes. Its expected benefit is to help users prepare more systematically and approach presentations and interviews with greater confidence. Further user testing will be needed to measure improvements in speaking performance and confidence.
