StatLearnSite: A Digital Learning Platform for Introduction to Statistics

About the Project

Learning statistics can be challenging for beginners due to complex concepts, formulas, and calculations. To address this issue, StatLearnSite was developed using Google Sites with the assistance of Google Gemini. The site provides accessible, structured, and learner-friendly resources for basic statistics, supporting flexible and self-directed learning through a centralized platform. An evaluation involving 29 learners showed that most respondents expressed positive agreement with their experience using the site, indicating a favourable perception of its usefulness and learning experience. The innovation offers a practical, low-cost, and scalable approach to statistics education, with the potential to enhance accessibility, learner engagement, and understanding of basic statistical concepts.
